Mary Ann Tighe, CEO, New York Tri-State Region, has been responsible for over 81 million square feet of commercial real estate transactions, and her deals have anchored more than 9.2 million square feet of new construction in the New York region—believed to be a record in commercial brokerage. Most recently, Mary Ann represented Young & Rubicam in its 340,000-square-foot headquarters relocation to 3 Columbus Circle, and Condé Nast in its 25-year, 1.2-million-square-foot lease at One World Trade Center. In January 2010, Mary Ann was named chairman of the Real Estate Board of New York—the first woman to hold this position in REBNY’s 114-year history. Among her philanthropic commitments, Mary Ann is active in supporting education and the arts in New York City, as well as research directed at finding a cure for lung cancer. In her sister’s memory, Mary Ann and her family founded Joan’s Legacy: Uniting Against Lung Cancer. Since its launch in 2001, Uniting Against Lung Cancer has awarded 90 research grants totaling $8.5 million.

In 2011, Mary Ann Tighe was named Crain’s Business New York’s Most Powerful Woman in New York. We are excited to have Mary Ann address the Real Estate Weekly Women’s Forum.

In her capacity as CEO, Ms. DiCola oversees Trepp’s business in the CMBS, Commercial Mortgage Finance, and U.S. Banking data and analytics markets. From 2000 to 2001, Ms. DiCola served as the first woman President of the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association (now known as CREFC, the trade organization of the CMBS industry). She has been actively involved since it was founded in 1993, and is a Founding Member of the Board of Governors, on which she still serves. Ms. DiCola is Editor‐in–Chief of The CMBS E‐Primer, an electronic publication of CREFC designed for training in CMBS, released in 2007 and formerly served as the Publisher of CMBS World, the quarterly magazine of CREFC. Additionally, she now serves as Director on the NYCREW Board as well as a member of the President’s Council of the Real Estate Roundtable.

During her 30-year career, Ms. Stacom has been responsible for executing in excess of 40 million square feet and some of the largest and most complex leasing, sales and corporate finance transactions. Most recently, as exclusive leasing agent for One World Trade Center, one of the world’s most iconic office buildings, she secured media giant Conde Nast as the anchor tenant for its 1,000,000 sf headquarters. Ms. Stacom has managed and leased Class A office space for some of the most prominent owners and investors of real estate in New York. Since joining Cushman & Wakefield in 1981, Ms. Stacom has distinguished herself as one of the leading brokerage professionals in the real estate industry. She consistently ranks among the firm’s top producing brokers including # 2 ranking in the New York Region and #3 ranking worldwide in 2011.
