Kimberly Laten has more than 15 years experience as an accomplished architectural color consultant. She has colorized over 425,000 multifamily units, 14 million square feet of commercial property and numerous residential communities. Her achievements have been featured on Image Home Improvement TV and has been a regular guest on Extra 910 Image Home Improvement Radio show. Kimberly went to college in Massachusetts graduating with a Fine Arts Degree. Kimberly started her career in Property Management where she was a top performing leasing consultant at the largest property in Arizona (1222 units). She learned all about the importance of having a good looking building, as drive by traffic is and will always be the largest source of marketing for property. She was a top Property Management Paint Sales Representative for Frazee Paint for 7 years where she absolutely fell in love working with multiple property owners and management companies and created many new looks for commercial and multifamily communities.
Kimberly is a past student of The IACC/NA (International Association of Color Consultants), studying under the direction of Frank Manke, (President of the IACC – International Association of Color Consultant/Designers and the Director of the IACC Education/Accreditation Programs conducted worldwide) Kimberly also has taken classes with The Business of Color. She has been specifically trained in both the functional, visual ergonomics and the aesthetic application of color. Kimberly’s training and experience in numerous projects including urban townscapes, hotel, Multi-family, senior living, commercial industrial, retail, homes and personal living spaces has made her one of the most sought after color consultants in the southwest region.
She was raised in Minnesota but loves the warm winters in Arizona since her arrival in 1995. She loves to spend time with her family, friends and travel. Her hobbies include modern dance, yoga, acrylic painting, scrapbooking and indoor rock climbing.
