Ms. Lord joined Fairfield in 2002 and is responsible for managing equity and debt relationships for the company. During her tenure at Fairfield Ms. Lord has negotiated and closed over $5.5 billion in multifamily debt and equity with major banking institutions, life companies and institutional investors. Prior to Fairfield, Ms. Lord was a vice president in capital markets with Security Capital Group, responsible for the initial Asia market entry research for Prologis and held several positions including office manager Tokyo, Japan, vice president and assistant to the chairman of Prologis Trust, and associate Archstone Trust. Ms. Lord received the prestigious Richard B. Stearns award at Security Capital. Prior to that, Ms. Lord was a trader on the European and Asian currency desk with Asahi Bank, Tokyo. Ms. Lord received her BA in economics from Smith College and her MBA in finance from University of Chicago Booth. Ms. Lord is member of the ULI Transit Oriented Development Council, a mentor for the ULI Partnership Forum Group in San Diego and serves on the National Multi Housing Council Finance Committee, Equity Subcommittee.
