Jane Vaughan, Partner, Development, Menlo Equities. At Menlo Equities, Ms. Vaughan is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s development projects. She is currently developing a 1.65M square foot office/R&D project in Santa Clara. The Campus at 3333 Scott will be the future headquarters of Pan Alto Networks who will occupy over 1 million square feet in 2017. Ms. Vaughan’s 4 million square feet development portfolio at Menlo Equities over the past 19 years ranges from traditional office/research and development projects in Silicon Valley and Southern California to mixed-use office and residential condominiums.

She developed Juniper Networks initial three-building headquarters in Sunnyvale and entitled a ten-building, 2.5 million square foot campus for Juniper on an adjacent 80-acre site, now their current headquarters location.

Additionally, she is the principal owner in Menlo Equities Development Services Company LLC (“MEDSCO”), which secured the entitlements in 2004 for the 1+ million mixed-use retail, residential and office project known as Sunnyvale Town Center in Downtown Sunnyvale.

Prior to joining Menlo Equities, Ms. Vaughan was a Vice President and Development Partner with The Koll Company in San Jose and with Wells Fargo Bank as a vice president of the commercial real estate group in Silicon Valley.

Ms. Vaughan holds an MBA with honors from Northwestern University in Finance and Accounting. She is a structural engineer with a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering with honors from the University of Maryland and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University.

Ms. Vaughan is a board member and former Chair of Goodwill in San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin. As Chair from 2012 to 2115, she spearheaded the sale of Goodwill’s under-utilized San Francisco property for $65.6M, allowing the non-profit to acquire a more suitable replacement facility and create an endowment for the future.

She also coordinated the acquisition and remodel of non-profit Sunnyvale Community Services’ headquarters in Sunnyvale. Ms. Vaughan was a member and former board member of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and an Urban Land Institute.
