Marlena Demenus is the founder and CEO of Sky Lake Partners, a private equity real estate firm which invests in multifamily and mixed-use buildings in the gentrifying neighborhoods of Harlem and the Bronx. Marlena overseas all aspects of the firm’s business, including portfolio selection, building management and operations, and business development. She brings more than 15 years of real estate acquisitions and investment experience to Sky Lake with a particular focus on rent stabilized housing.

Marlena also has 15 years of Wall Street experience, where she held senior roles in sales and trading as well as investment banking at top tier banks including Morgan Stanley and Bear Stearns. Marlena graduated from The Wharton School of Business with an MBA in Finance and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Colgate University.
