Ruth Ann Blankenheim is a Co-Founder & Principal of Harbor Road Holdings, a real estate investment firm focused on acquiring and repositioning mixed-use and multi-family assets in and around the New York Metro area, and holding them for the long term. Harbor Road currently owns assets in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.

Prior to founding Harbor Road, Ms. Blankenheim worked at BlackRock, leaving in May 2014 as a Vice President. Her responsibilities included acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut & Pennsylvania on behalf of all separate accounts, open-end funds, and closed-end funds. During her time at BlackRock, Ms. Blankenheim closed acquisitions totaling over $300 million in gross asset value and managed nine assets with over $415 million in gross asset value. Prior to BlackRock, Ms. Blankenheim worked at The Clarett Group for seven years and left the firm in 2010 as Development Director / Vice President. Her responsibilities included all aspects of the development process for luxury high-rise residential projects in Manhattan and Brooklyn including underwriting, acquisition, predevelopment planning, project management, sales & leasing, and dispositions. During her time at Clarett, she worked on seven projects totaling over $1 billion of capitalization, resulting in 539 for sale condos and townhomes, and 492 multi-family units.

Ms. Blankenheim earned a BS in Mathematics and a BS in Honors from Villanova University, and an MS in Real Estate Finance from NYU. While at Villanova, she also competed on their Division I Women’s Volleyball team. She currently serves on the Young Professionals Board for Friends of the Children New York, and previously sat on the Alumni Board of Directors for NYU’s Schack Real Estate Institute for four years as Vice President.
