Sondra Wenger is a Managing Director of CIM Group. She has management responsibility for broker relations, and also sources investments across the United States as well as internationally for the firm. She has been involved in an array of transactions including equity and debt positions in stabilized, value-add and opportunistic investments in office buildings, retail, apartments, condominiums and hotels, through direct and joint venture investment. Ms. Wenger joined CIM in 2009, and during her tenure at the firm, Ms. Wenger has sourced, negotiated, and/or closed over $5.2 billion in transactions.
Ms. Wenger has an extensive career in real estate investments at notable firms prior to joining CIM. She has demonstrated a record of accomplishments with top tier institutions and a proven track record in deal-driven environments including leading joint venture opportunities for Arden Realty under General Electric in the Western United States; at Equity Office Properties where she closed over $640 million in acquisitions in Northern California; and at MacFarlane partners where she was responsible for managing risk and acquisitions across the United States.
Ms. Wenger is a member of the Urban Land Institute, serves on the Executive Board for the Urban Mixed Use Development Council (Gold Flight) and is a mentor for the young leader partnership program. Prior to joining the Urban Mixed Use Development Council, Ms. Wenger was a member of Industrial Office Park Council. She was selected as one of RE Forum’s Women of Influence in 2014. Ms. Wenger has been a guest lecturer at NYU and Miami University. She has served on the board for both the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and the Belden Real Estate Club. Ms. Wenger earned a B.S. degree in Business, with an emphasis in accounting, graduated with honors at the University of California Riverside and was a Certified Public Accountant (1994-2008).
